Azriel finally broke through the foilage to the small clearing where the seven stones of Azmith stood, six feet high in a circle, for all to see. As her decendant and the head of her pack it was up to him, to keep in check with the goddess for all her good luck or so most wolves beilieved.
He walked to the center of the eerie circle and sat upon the flat stone pedistal and closed his eyes, falling into a sort of meditative trance. Wheather Chie had followed him or not, it didn't matter now. Not while he was with the goddess nothing mattered. He sat in silence for several moments, before he was released, and slowly walked out of the circle, shaking his head.

Chie followed him out of the bushes but stopped at the edge of the clearing to stare at the monument. She waited until he began walking out again. "Is something wrong?"

He returned to her with a sigh, still shaking his head.
"No," he said with a slight frown, "just the unpleasant knowledge of a new pack member." he snorted, "oh well," and began walking toward the foilage once again, leaving the eerie stones behind. "I'm going home now," he left his sentance at that. He was not the type to invite her along nor was he one to tell her to go away, so he left the choice up to her. Once he reached the Azmith pack lands, he would rest. Perhaps tomorrow he would venture to the city again, that is, if something else didn't distract him first.

Chie watched him as he walked by. "Is it okay for me to follow you," she asked as she padded after him, "I don't want to intrude." She was usually very foward, but she was doing her best to be more refined around this parson she hardly knew. Truth be told she didn't know how to get back out of the forest.
