Tarakami sat at the edge of the lake watching the water as the ripples echoed across the usually glassy surface and sighed with happiness. The touch of rain had always soothed him and he had alot on his mind at the moment. He breathed in the scent of the rain and felt it invigorate him. He also smelt the wet pine which calmed him even further. Though it was fall the evergreens around him hadn't even browned. The rolling thunder seemed to match his beating heart as he sat in the storm. His only wish was that someone could be there to join him.

Fall soon faded to early winter, the first snow falling from the sky. Constantly swirling like the gypsy music she had grown up with in her mind the beat of her paws through the forest, coyote. Not as noble as the wolf, of as tricky as the fox, Teneka was simply that; herself.
Fiding the large fox by the lake, watching as the snow fell upon the water, disappearing instantly upon meeting it's surface. She stood staring at him, not frightened, but wide eyed, as was her expression most of the time. Also like her she slipped from the rock overhaning the lake on the far end to land with an ungraceful splash in the water below.
Crawling out, embarrassed she shook her coat free of the wet clining there. She turned, and stared him down again, lowering her head silently to watch him.

Tarakami heard the splash and was slightly startled he caught the sent of the coyote and slowly turned his head towards the embaressed creature. 'Hello. What my ask are you doing here?' Tarakami asked calmly. He had been mostly left alone... He smiled gently at the thought of a companion. 'Come, sit. I wish to talk to you.' Tarakami patted the wet rock at the lakes edge.

She stepped away, ears back, glancing to the sides to see if he was really talking to her, eyes wide. Reluctantly, she scurried around the lake to stand a few yards from him,
"I..I just, come here sometimes..." she said eyes still floundering and sitting down, ears still back, "What about you?"

Tarakami tilted his head centimeter to the left. His equalent to a shrug. 'Water calms me, and snow does wonders to clear my mind...' Tarakami's ears perked up in realization. 'Oh! How rude of me, I don't even know your name. I am Tarakami of the North.' Tarakami dipped his head slightly, and looked into Teneka's indecribable eyes with his lavender ones. 'What is your name?'

She stepped back, glancing away timidly,
"I'm Teneka....of the gypsies..." She knew gypsies weren't well liked, but that was who she was, and this man hopefully wouldn't hate her for it.

a few feather fell, from the tree above the two, as Ourali shook the water from her wings. "So, a gypsie huh," There was a smile in her voice, "an outcast perhaps? Don't worry, you'll fit right in."
She flitted down from her perch transforming just in time to land softly on her now human feet. "Forgive me, the name's Ourali. Pleasure to meet you."

She looked at the new presence, ears still back, but now she was suddenly confident, "I'm no outcast." she said with a firm tone, the her eyes turned apologetic as she looked up at the other woman, "I..I mean I'm not that being an outcast is bad, but I have a family," Of course she didn't think that maybe her entire family of gypsies were outcasts, but she fit in with them and therefore, she was not an outcast. "Oh...I'm Teneka," she looked to the fox timidly, somehow looking for what?...a peak of interest? No, that was silly an over sized fox and a coyote? or was he a wolf?..Didn't matter...did it? Why was she even thinking about it? Oy... what a day. She looked between the others and sat down, may as well enjoy good company while it's good.

She walked out from underneath the trees protective branches and into the dripping rain.
"I meant no offense." Ourali was always sincire, "so what brings you all the way out here in the rain?"
She was only looking for some small talk, it wan't very often that anyone joined her and tarakami. Most people looked down on their friendship.

Tarakami chuckled softlt and looked at his long time friend. "Ourali you have always been blunt..." Tarakami sighed and watched the rain fall once again. "I once knew a gypsy... I was badly hurt and an old woman nursed my wounds..." Tarakami's eyes flashed as he recollected the pain of his child hood at the hands of the wolves that he grew up with. "I belive that gypsies are truly free. They don't let society hinder them in their belifs." Tarakami looked at the coyote and saw that she was looking for something. Tarakami closed his eyes and transformed into his human form behind a bush and put on his clothes. 'Teneka? Would you be willing to accopany the two of us?' Tarakami looked at Ourali. " Oh Ourali, I was wondering if you were able to find out anything about the pack around here? Especially the about the leader of the pack..."
